Role Preparation Workshop

This program is designed for the emerging professional artist who is looking to take a role to the higher level of artistic excellence.

The workshop will last two weeks: April 30-May 4 and May 7-12. Each day will be comprised of workshops, lectures, individual lessons/coachings, staging and musical rehearsals. Singers accepted into the program will be interviewed about their current strengths and areas in need of growth; classes will be individually tailored to focus on creating a more well-rounded artist. The workshop will conclude with a presentation of the major scenes from the opera.

11:30 – 1:30 INVIDUAL LESSONS/COACHINGS; LUNCH
1:30 – 3:30 Staging rehearsals
3:30 – 4:30 Lecture/Workshop
