Community Outreach

Arbor Opera Theater offers a number of outreach programs available at the venue of your choice. We have educational programs for elementary through college classes and groups of senior citizens at recreation centers. We also offer concerts and full performances of our current opera. Fat Ladies and High Notes???

This is a fun and informative program that introduces elementary school students to opera and classical singing.

- Designed for elementary school assemblies (2nd grade and up)
- 30-45 minute program
- Presented by two singers and a pianist
- Singing for the students
- Explanations on terms related to opera
- Instruction on audience etiquette for opera
- Talking about the career of a professional singer
- A lively question and answer session
- Distribution of age-appropriate activity sheets
- Requires no teacher training
- Offers great economy and flexibility for schools since no student transportation is involved

- Two or more programs on the same date $200 each
