INTERN OPPORTUNITIES

AOT will be presenting Puccini's TOSCA in a new English language adaptation that sets the action in 1929 Chicago. We have secured the Power Center for Performing arts for 4 performances, March 1-4, 2018. Having this space during the academic year allows us to do a larger scale work (since there’s an orchestra pit) as well as introducing school age children and college students to opera. This fantastic new production will feature a cast of professional singers (AOT alumni that have gone on to professional careers), a full orchestra, a large chorus including children, and a cinematic style of production. Mr. McDonald’s 2015 adaptation of La Traviata was widely praised by audiences and critics alike. Don’t miss your opportunity to be a part of this new, ground-breaking production.

NOTE: Arbor Opera Theater doesn’t own a physical space for interns to come to complete their work, but resources, software and other tools needed will be provided, and if physical space is deemed necessary, AOT will find a location for interns to work.
